Remember, the more games you trade, the more you can save against new games by building up your trade-in credit. And if there's a new release you want but you haven't traded-in yet, you can simply trade in your games as part of the purchase with no need for separate transactions - or separate queues.

How much is my shipping?
 
Shipping is Free for UK customers and we use 1st Class Delivery. Signed & Special Delivery are available at a small cost & can be chosen in 'Checkout' if required.

For International customers shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the 'Checkout' page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.

How do I return my product?

Information on the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive)
All Electronic and Electrical Equipment (EEE) placed onto the market from January 2, 2007 must be marked with this symbol to indicate that it is covered by the WEEE Directive, the provisions of which require that producers or manufacturers of EEE become liable to pay for take-back treatment and recycling of end of life equipment (WEEE):

  • What are Video Game Box's obligations according to the WEEE Directive?
In line with WEEE Waste Electrical and Equipment Regulation, Video Game Box offers a like-for-like take back recycling scheme. This means that if you are replacing an electrical item with a new electrical item from Video Game Box, you may send the old item to us for recycling.
  • How does Videogamebox.co.uk ensure safe disposal of my WEEE?
  • Please post any items within 28 days of purchase to the address on your invoice. Unfortunately we are unable to cover the cost of the postage of your old item.

  • Are there any other ways of disposing of my old electronic equipment?
If your old piece of electronic equipment is still in a good working condition or could be repaired for further use, please consider donating it to a charitable organisation or by giving it to someone else in need. By extending the lifetime of your old equipment you are also contributing to the efficient use of resources and avoiding additional waste.

Please note that from July 1, 2007, it will be possible for you to dispose of your WEEE and ensure that it is recycled. WEEE may contain hazardous substances which, if exposed, may have a serious detrimental effect on the environment and human health. That is why all WEEE that you volunteer for recycling will be specifically collected and treated by designated local waste facility centres and by licensed WEEE compliance schemes. By ensuring that you dispose off your old electrical and electronic equipment according to the new WEEE legislation you are helping to preserve our natural resources and protect human health.



  • What is the WEEE Directive?

The production of electrical and electronic equipment is one of the fastest growing domains of manufacturing in the western world, and with broad consumer take-up of products in this area, there is also a mounting issue of waste. In June 2000, the European Commission put forward proposals to address this issue, and in December 2002 these were passed as the EU Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Directive.

For the UK, the WEEE Regulations were laid before Parliament on December 12, 2006. The main requirements and obligations on producers and distributors of Electronic and Electrical Equipment (EEE) came into effect from July 1, 2007.

The major provisions of the WEEE Directive are:
  • Which products fall under the legislation and how do I recognise them?

    • Category 1 - Large household appliances (fridges, cookers, microwaves, washing machines, etc.)
    • Category 2 - Small household appliances (vacuum cleaners, clocks, toasters, etc.)
    • Category 3 - IT and Telecommunications equipment (PCs, mainframes, printers, copiers, phones, etc.)
    • Category 4 - Consumer equipment (radios, hi-fi, musical instruments, videos, camcorders, etc.)
    • Category 5 - Lighting equipment (fluorescent tubes and holders, sodium lamps, etc.)
    • Category 6 - Electrical and electronic tools (drills, sewing machines, electric lawnmowers, etc.)
    • Category 7 - Toys, leisure and sports equipment (electric trains, games consoles, exercise machines, etc.)
    • Category 8 - Medical devices (analysers, dialysis machines, medical freezers, etc.)
    • Category 9 - Monitoring and control equipment (smoke detectors, thermostats, scales, etc.)
    • Category 10 - Automatic dispensers (hot drinks machines, sweet and chocolate bar dispensers, cash machines, etc.)
How can I recycle my old batteries
Under the Waste Battery Regulations, we are now offering a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries. We will accept the return of your waste batteries at our head office, or, alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at http://www.recyclenow.com. Most Supermarkets and shops that sell batteries willl have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls, shools or libraries may alos set up collection points. End-users may find stores in their local area more accessible.

Please do not return your used batteries to us via mail.

My Rewards Terms & Conditions

Overview

When you enroll in the MyRewards ("Program"), you agree to be bound by these Program Terms and Conditions. Video Game Box reserves the right at any time and from time to time, without notice, to add to, remove from, change or terminate the Program; for example, Video Game Box may change the Program benefits, MyReward credit levels, Program affiliations or redemption offers at any time without notice. Participants are responsible for accessing these sites in order to keep informed of Program features applicable to Participants' rights and responsibilities with regard to the Program. MyReward credits accrue and may be redeemed in accordance with these Program Terms and Conditions. Video Game Box may further restrict the Program based on your place of residence.

When you obtain MyReward credits, you have obtained a limited license from Video Game Box as described in the these Program Terms and Conditions. Accrued MyReward credits are not your property. MyReward credits are not transferable under any conditions, including upon a Participant's death, as part of a domestic relations matter, or in any other matter, and any purported transfer or exchange of MyReward credits is null and void. Accrued MyReward credits may not be combined with any other Program Participant's MyReward credits. All accrued MyReward credits will be forfeited upon your withdrawal from or termination of the Program.

MyReward credits have no MONETARY value and may not be combined with any other offer, discount, coupon or promotion. MYREWARDS CREDITS CAN NEVER BE CONVERTED TO CASH OR REFUNDED, EVEN UPON CANCELLATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT BY YOU OR TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION OF YOUR ACCOUNT BY US.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Video Game Box retains ownership rights in any and all MyReward credits and grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MyReward credits only as specifically designated by Video Game Box as part of the Program. In the event that your account is cancelled or terminated by you or by Video Game Box for any reason, then you will no longer have the right to use any MyReward credits stored in or otherwise associated with your account, without any compensation to you or any liability of Video Game Box. Once MyReward credits are deleted from your account, they will not be reinstated, except at Video Game Box's sole discretion. Your only recourse and rights, if any, with respect to MyReward credits obtained by you is to redeem such MyReward credits in accordance with these Program Terms and Conditions pursuant to eligible redemption offers as specifically designated Video Game Box from time to time in Video Game Box's sole discretion.

You are encouraged to redeem MyReward credits stored in your account. Video Game Box reserves the right, at any time and for any reason, to terminate the Program or to otherwise cease to allow any and all uses of MyReward credits previously permitted.In such cases, Video Game Box generally will attempt to provide advance notice to Participants and an opportunity for Participants to redeem then-existing MyReward credits for eligible offers, as designated at such time by Video Game Box in its sole discretion; however, Video Game Box makes no guarantee there will be any such redemption offers available at such time.

The availability of any feature or aspect of the Program cannot be guaranteed.The existence of a particular offer available for redemption of MyReward credits is not a commitment by Video Game Box to maintain or continue to make such offers in the future. MyReward credits required for any redemption offer may increase at any time. The scope, variety and type of offers that may be available for redemption of MyReward credits can change at any time. Video Game Box have no obligation to continue making offers available for redemption of MyReward credits. In addition, we may limit your use MyReward credits stored in your account, including applying limits to: the number of MyReward credits you may have stored in or credited to your account balance at one time, the number of MyReward credits you may redeem within a given time period (for example, one day), or the number of MyReward credits you may obtain per promotion. We also may remove MyReward credits from your account if they are posted to your account in connection with an activity that is subsequently voided, canceled or involves a return.

Participant Eligibility

  • Only one MyReward account allowed per individual.
  • Provision of false information or omission of any information requested on any Program enrollment or redemption form or receipt may be grounds for denial of enrollment and/or accrual of MyReward credit in the Participant's account.

  • If you believe that you have validly obtained any MyReward credits that have not posted to your account, then you must contact us within Video Game Box months after the date you claimed to have obtained MyReward credits. You acknowledge and agree that we may require reasonable documentation to support your claim and our resolution of your claim after our internal customer service review processes will be considered binding and final by you.

Reward Redemption

  • All redemption offers are subject to availability. Certain restrictions may apply to specific redemption offers.
  • After a Participant has redeemed MyReward credits, the Participant will not be able to exchange, refund or return the credits for redeposit in the Participant's account.
  • By redeeming a MyReward, the Participant releases Video Game Box , subsidiaries and affiliates from any and all liability regarding the Program or any redemption or use of MyReward credits. Video Game Box is not responsible for replacing lost, stolen or mutilated gift certificates, merchandise or anything else obtained by redemption of MyReward credits.

Miscellaneous

Participants are responsible for all taxes, liabilities, surcharges and any other fees associated with participation in the Program.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Video Game Box makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular use or otherwise, regarding the Program or anything obtained by redemption of MyReward credits, AND Video Game Box is not liable or responsible for special, incidental, punitive, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the or related to the Program or use in any manner of anything obtained by redemption.

You acknowledge and agree that the results of our internal customer service review processes will be considered binding and final by you with respect to any and all matters arising from or related to the Program. Video Game Box may audit any Participant's account at any time, with or without notice to the Participant, to ensure compliance with these Program Terms and Conditions. Video Game Box, in its sole discretion, may cancel, suspend or otherwise limit your access to MyReward credits stored in your account if there is any suspicious, fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity associated with your account. If we cancel, suspend or otherwise limit access to MyReward credits stored in your account, your right to use MyReward credits stored in your account immediately ceases. We will use reasonable efforts to investigate accounts that are subject to access limitations and to reach a final decision on the limitations promptly. Video Game Box reserves the right to pursue legal action in the event of fraud, misrepresentation, abuse or violation of the Program Terms and Conditions.

The Program is subject to applicable government laws, rules and regulations. Void where prohibited.
